Employee donations were brought to the corporate office and to the Huntingdon district office. Employees also sold baked goods to raise money for the effort. A big "thank you" to all who supported the toy drive.

Parents who would like for Santa to have a little help this year can contact Toys for Tots at 814/506-6229.

Valley REC reminds everybody, including those playing the Pokémon™ Go game, to stay away from substations and other high voltage equipment. Not only is it illegal for people (other than employees) to enter a substation or climb an electric pole (it’s trespassing), it is also extremely dangerous. People can suffer serious injury or even death from contacting high voltage lines or other equipment in substations or on electric poles.
