Light-emitting diode (LED) light bulbs cost more to purchase but use a fraction of the electricity compared to incandescent bulbs. Plus, they last for years. That is why Valley REC offers LED bulbs to members as a part of its Valley Rural Energy Services.
We sell two sizes of Sylvania LED A19 bulbs. They produce a soft white light with a color temperature rating of 2700 Kelvin. They contain no lead or mercury and emit no UV or IR radiation. These non-dimmable bulbs can be used indoors or outdoors. They have a rated average life of 10 years when used for three hours a day.
