View and Pay Bill with SmartHub
Use SmartHub®, Valley's electronic account presentment and payment software, to access and review your account, view your electric bill, and make your payment.
SmartHub Overview
SmartHub® is more than an online bill payment system. You can set up notifications, review your account and electric use, compare past bills, and report service issues.
Payment Options
You can pay your bill online or by phone using a major credit card, debit card, or electronic check transaction. You can even set up automatic recurring payments. And you can pay by mail or in person.
Residential Bill
We strive to keep your bill simple to read and easy to understand. It still remains a single sheet, and important information appears on both sides.
Definitions
Words and phrases can have special meanings when they are used with electricity. We provide a list of some of these to help you better understand your bill.
Disconnection
Since co-op members are owners, delinquent bills are an expense for all members. To encourage members to carry their share of financial obligation, the board enacted a disconnection policy.
Rates
As a cooperative, Valley strives to provide reliable electric service at the lowest possible cost. As of August 2021, Valley's total residential price of 9.95 cents per kilowatt-hour was lower than the state and national averages.

Do you have questions about electricity rates? We compiled some frequently asked questions along with their answers. If your question is not among these, contact us. We'll try to get you an answer.
Fees
Like most businesses, Valley REC has various fees and additional charges above the basic rates paid for electricity. Many of these are for special situations and recover some of the costs incurred by the co-op.
